These terms govern your use of Recipe Keeper AI — the web app at www.recipekeeper-ai.com and the iOS and Android apps — provided by Arfa Akhlaque, an individual developer publishing under the developer account "ArfAI," based in India. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Recipe Keeper AI helps you save, organize, and cook from recipes you find anywhere — pasted links, text, photos, or files — using AI to extract them into a clean, structured format, plus tools for meal planning, grocery lists, cookbooks, and events. It's built for personal, non-commercial use.
You need an account to use Recipe Keeper AI. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to create one. Provide accurate information when you sign up, and let us know if you believe your account has been compromised.
You own whatever you create in the app — your own written recipes, notes, meal plans, and organization. By saving content in Recipe Keeper AI, you grant us a license to store, process, and display it back to you as part of providing the service. We don't claim ownership of your content, and we don't use it for anything beyond running and improving the app for you.
A core feature of the app is pulling a structured recipe out of a link, video, photo, or file you provide. When you do this, you're representing that you have the right to submit that content and to keep the extracted recipe as part of your own personal collection — for your own cooking and reference, not for republishing, redistributing, or commercial use. We display the original source (and, where available, credit the creator or link back to the source) as part of the saved recipe.
Recipe extraction, nutrition and serving estimates, and answers from "Ask ArfAI" are generated by AI and can be inaccurate or incomplete — especially anything marked as AI-estimated. Nothing in the app is medical, dietary, or nutritional advice. If you have food allergies, medical dietary restrictions, or any health condition affected by what you eat, verify ingredients and nutrition independently before relying on anything the app shows you.
Recipe Keeper AI offers a free tier with usage limits on AI-powered features (like extractions and Ask ArfAI), and a Premium subscription that raises or removes those limits. Subscriptions, once available, are purchased and billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and are subject to their respective terms — including auto-renewal, cancellation, and refund policies, which those platforms handle directly, not us. You can manage or cancel a subscription any time through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.

You can stop using the app and request account deletion any time — see the Privacy Policy for how. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, or discontinue the service entirely with reasonable notice where practical.
Recipe Keeper AI is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that extracted or AI-generated content will always be accurate. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including anything related to the accuracy of extracted recipes or AI-generated estimates.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where required, notify you in the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the app will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
